‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 finale spoilers: Greg and Tamara’s chain of command
The more we learn about Greg and Tamara’s “objective” on Sunday’s finale for “Once Upon a Time,” the more we start to wonder whether or not they are just a part of some sort of bizarre, creepy cult led by some sort of kooky leader interested first and foremost in having some sort of actual power over another human being.
For more evidence, just look at the shocking discovery in the sneak peek below where these two are somehow crazy enough to follow someone (and some “home office”) without even knowing who it is. They take orders from some unknown source, follow them, and then hope for the best. Yep, that’s what we are getting out of this. They are poor, disillusioned souls brought together by something missing in their life and a need to be fulfilled. Basically, they are the minions of Joe Carroll on “The Following.” (Next proposed “Once Upon a Time” spin-off: “Once Upon a Following,” anyone?)
It’s always lovely to have two normal people be trumped on the sanity scale by a fairy-tale character, and that is what happens here when Captain Hook looks at them as if they have avocados for brains upon admission that they don’t know their leader. The just believe in the cause, and ask him to do the same. We’re not sure our self-preserving pirate, who owes nothing to either one of these two, really believes what they are saying at all. However, he is willing to go along with it for the time being, as they watch the little black gem float up to the middle of the room.
But isn’t Hook going to die? Isn’t everyone going to die? Since the show already has a season 3, and it is probably not going to consist of Greg and Tamara having tea together, we have to assume they’ll find a way to sort all of this out.
This is not the end for those of you seeking more scoop on all things Captain Hook. Colin O’Donoghue has more dish on his relationship with Baelfire here, and it is a must-read for all Neverland fanatics.
