NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 finale spoilers: Jeff ponders his future
While most of the Greendale gang still have a little ways to go until graduation, Jeff Winger took advantage of the opportunity to get a step ahead of the game, and on Thursday night’s finale for “Community,” he is going to take a serious look at what he wants to do with the rest of his life.
In the sneak peek video below, you can see Joel McHale’s character venturing back into an environment where he has not been in quite a long time: A law firm. Specifically, with one of the men who used to work for him not played by Rob Corddry or Drew Carey. Basically, the objective here seems to be simple: To hire Jeff back. He was a good attorney before he had any sort of formal education, so why couldn’t he still be one now?
At the moment, the only thing that seems to be really holding Jeff back is the mere idea that he may not want to go this route when it comes to his career. The fact that he does not give his former co-worker a firm answer, despite promises of money and opportunities, suggests that maybe a few years at a community college with some new people caused him to really change. Of course, it’s also still early in the game, and we don’t want to give this character too lofty expectations.
What is your take on this video, and do you think we could see Jeff back to practicing law sooner rather than later? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! Also, you can take a look at our most-recent “Community” episode review over at the link here.
