‘New Girl’ season 2 finale spoilers: First video of Taylor Swift (and an angry animal)

For whatever reason, the way in which Taylor Swift stands up in the new promo released for next week’s season finale of “New Girl” really screams one thing to us: That most of her recent facial expressions look exactly like whenever she walks away with a major award on a TV show. Nobody says “I’m surprised / grateful” better then Swift, and this already gets us excited about just whatever sort of role she is going to have in the half-hour that is actually named after her character: “Elaine’s Big Day.”

The person we are really supposed to be celebrating here is Cece, who is getting the sort of traditional Indian wedding ceremony that she has wanted desperately ever since learning that if she wanted to have children, she needed to start having them soon.

Of course, getting to the wedding does not actually mean that we are going to see a wedding happen during the episode. As a matter of fact, we are not entirely sure that anyone out there genuinely believes that Cece is going to be able to go through with marrying a man she barely knows, especially when there are feelings lingering in her somewhere for a man that we’re pretty sure no one wants to admit to having lingering feelings for at all: Schmidt.

Elsewhere in this episode, expect to see some sort of resolution when it comes to the Nick / Jess story that we’ve had plenty of fun with over the course of the past several weeks. Not only that, but it appears as though there is also going to be a certain sort of animal attack.
