‘Glee’ season 4 finale spoilers: Darren Criss gushes over Jessica Sanchez’ talent
At this time in 24 hours, just about everyone in North America will have had an opportunity to watch the “Glee” finale live, and with that in mind, the word will be out on Jessica Sanchez’s big moment as Frida Romero.
As you may have heard already, Sanchez’s role is pretty simple: She is the lead singer of a rival glee club to New Directions called the Hoosierdaddies, and she is going to be one of those people who craves the spotlight, and knows that they have the talent to make anything happen. (Sounds a little like Rachel Berry, no?) We don’t know just how much screen time she will receive when she is not performing, but even if it is none, it’s always nice to have another platform to promote yourself on at the same time as your album is out.
In addition to talking about her experiences in the video below about going from being a fan of “Glee” to a star on the show, Darren Criss (Blaine) and Becca Tobin (Kitty) each are also kind enough to pour on the praise for the recent “American Idol” star. Blaine seems especially grateful to have someone else in the Fox family stop by, and it does make us wonder if this is something that was a one-time affair, or if the show is going to also bring over some other singing-show contestants in the future. Fun fact: “Glee” already has a former “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant on board in Heather Morris, and many other contestants have taken part in other various scenes on the show over the years. Samuel Larsen is also a former “American Idol” audition.
