‘Glee’ season 4 finale spoilers: New Darren Criss – Chris Colfer photo!

If Blaine is really going to pop the question to Kurt on the “Glee” season 4 finale Thursday night, will the feelings be reciprocated? Sadly, we don’t know the answer to either one of them just yet, but Thursday is not that far away!

What we do at least have to share for the time being is the newest photo (via executive producer Ryan Murphy) of the onetime couple alongside a pair of new characters played by legendary actresses Patty Duke and Meredith Baxter. These two ladies are set to play a lesbian couple who will serve as mentors in some way to Kurt and Blaine moving forward, as they have been through life together, and know the sort of trials and tribulations that may be waiting on the other side.

The presence of all four of these characters together does suggest that there are good things in the works for Kurt and Blaine, and while they may or may not be getting engaged in the finale, the chances are high that they are taking another step closer to being together in the long-term. Part of their struggle over the past several months has been working to establish some sort of emotional relationship again. The physical one is clearly still there as evidenced by the “I Do” episode, but learning to be honest and trust each other after the whole “Eli C.” incident is a much more difficult hurdle to try and get through.
