‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: The premiere title and new casting information
You’ve likely been waiting with baited breath for information on “Homeland” season 3, and now one of TV’s best is getting ready to finally start up production in North Carolina. With that, some details are starting to finally come out, including the title for the September 29 season premiere.
According to a report from SpoilerTV, the episode will be called “Tin Man Is Down.” As for what this means, your guess is as good as ours. The easy connection here is of course to the “Wizard of Oz,” with the character that is so desperately in need of a heart. Who’s the most heartless person in this show’s universe? In the eyes of some, possibly Nicholas Brody. If you wanted to try to deduce something based off of the obvious, you would probably get that the episode could revolve around the government somehow trying to convince the public that Brody is no longer a threat … but we really believe that this title is probably about something so much more than this.
There are also a few new characters officially being cast on a recurring basis for the rest of the season, and they include the following:
1. A senator and an attorney – These parts are so generic that they could really be anything, and could be played by anyone.
2. A psychiatrist – Who is in need of professional help the most here? The easy answer here is of course Carrie, considering what transpired in the finale.
3. Grandma Lois – This role is possibly recurring, and we don’t know whose grandma she is. Personally, we’d love to see what someone related to Jess Brody has to say about the mess that has suddenly become her life.
