‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 22 preview: Kol and ‘The Walking Dead’
Well, it’s fair to say that we now have confirmation who one of the returning characters is to “The Vampire Diaries” for next week’s new episode “The Walking Dead” … and it’s somebody that we’re sure that you have been clamoring to see for some time now.
Prior to the start of season 4, we had no idea that Nathaniel Buzolic was going to suddenly become a metaphorical rock star as Kol. The character was rarely seen during the season before, and was only slightly more memorable than his brother Finn. However, that managed to change pretty quickly this time around, and it was all courtesy of what we found to be a pretty surprising / entertaining storyline earlier this season regarding the character leading up to all of the Silas drama.
Now, Kol is one of the fan favorites, and despite being (spoiler alert!) dead, he is still coming back in some sort of ghostly form. He’s also not going to be alone. We know that Steven R. McQueen will be back for at least one more episode as Jeremy, and there is also a chance at seeing the return of Matt Davis as Alaric yet again. While we’ve heard that there is a character who could potentially have their death undone over the next two episodes, we hope it is not one of the two mentioned here, if for no other reason than that it takes away the poignancy of some of what we’ve seen already.
What do you want to see specifically go down in this episode, and how much of a happy dance are you doing at the thought of seeing Kol again?
