‘Dexter’ season 8 spoilers: A new addition speaks!

If you have felt that “Dexter” is a series extremely shrouded in mystery in years past, they have certainly found a way to become even more so with season 8. Why? They are building off of a pretty massive cliffhanger in LaGuerta being shot by Deb, and almost anything that is given away here could be a spoiler in regards to something that happens in the wake of her death.

With that in mind, we introduce an extremely coy interview featuring Bethany Joy Lenz via So Media. What we can tell you is that the former “One Tree Hill” actress is playing a former finance executive looking for a more peaceful life.  She will be someone who moves in close to Dexter, and she is appearing in multiple episodes this season. That’s really all anyone knows (or is willing to share at this point). Lenz was unable to really say much more than that in the interview, but she did say that she “has a nice juicy chunk to bite into for a little while.”

It is easy to assume that Lenz will have a pretty interesting part if she is in the final season, since the only footage that we really see producers throwing in here at this point is footage that really plays a significant part in the Dexter’s endgame. The one realization that we have at the moment is pretty simple: So long as she continues to live close to Dexter, Lenz’s character is probably not going to have the sort of quiet life that she was hoping for.
