‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Candice Accola and ‘Walking Dead’ stunners
With there only being three episodes left of “The Vampire Diaries” before we arrive at the end of season 4, you can definitely expect there to be some surprises on the way. The show has to find a way to bridge the gap between where these humans (and vampires) are right now, and where they will be when the end credits roll on the finale. We’ve still yet to see a permanent move by Klaus to New Orleans, the graduation of a few select Mystic Falls residents, whether or not someone will use the cure, the state of the show’s primary love triangle, and of course the question of the dead rising again during an episode (airing May 9) perfectly titled “The Walking Dead.”
So on most shows, the idea of someone coming back to life is ridiculous … but with this one, it’s fair to ask: Will someone actually be revived by the end of the season? According to TVLine, it’s possible, and one person who is resurrected may actually stay that way.
In moving forward to the graduation-themed season finale a week later, executive producer Julie Plec tells the website that this event will of course be a unifier, and in spite of everything that has happened and the danger of being out in the open (especially with Silas on the loose), Candice Accola’s Caroline will be especially intent on making this event happen:
“The instinct to miss graduation is going to be on [everyone’s] minds because there’s greater things afoot. And Caroline, as we know, finds these moments and high school events very precious and gets very angry when anybody tries to mess with them.”
