‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Union J, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson
British boy bands are the name of the game in this edition of “X Factor” notes, and we’re starting things out here with the biggest news in the brand-new video courtesy of Union J.
When these four boys made it all the way to the top 4 on this past season of the singing competition, they were touted time and time again as the one act that record labels would be desperate to sign after the competition was over. They had great harmonies, likable personalities, and it also helped that, like One Direction before them, they are all good-looking young guys with a passion for performing. Their new music video for “Carry You” is just what you would expect from them: the boys hanging out, performing in front of a crowd, and try to get themselves all dressed up so that they can hit the town looking their best.
Will this song turn Union J into superstars? That is to be determined by the fans at this point, but they certainly have a devoted fan-base already watching their every move.
Now, the hilarious – While we could talk a little bit more about Union J’s new video, it would be almost a sin if we did not start to touch on the astonishing fact that two of the guys from One Direction in Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson have literally purchased themselves their own version of the famous Scooby-Doo crime-fighting vehicle the Mystery Machine. You can see the photo of the van here, which was apparently quite the custom job.
Oh, the joys of being young and having so much disposable income. What we’re curious about here is just how much of a tricked-out interior does this car have, since you have to be sure that the boys equipped some state-of-the-art technology into this thing.
What would you rather have: A professional music video, or your own version of the Scooby-Doo van? If you want to read some more “X Factor” news pertaining to James Arthur, you can do so over here.
