ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 19 review: A Daniel / Emily shocker and more

If you ever wanted to see a dramatic version of the movie “The Wizard,” Sunday night’s “Revenge” season 2 episode was probably for you. After all, we really had some interesting content that unfolded in a pretty short amount of time, but what is going to be remembered here is a video-game standoff between Nolan and the lady Falcon, and the end results of that. Thanks to Nolan’s talents in button-mashing and using the right fighting-game moves, he has now secured some valuable data to take down the Graysons. Not only that, but he has something that Victoria wants from: Information on her long-lost son.

While the Nolan story was played beautifully by Gabriel Mann and was a complete blast to watch, Emily and Daniel had quite a story here, as well! Daniel was almost completely desperate to show off his new relationship with the world, carting her around on TV and even giving her an engagement ring to wear if she so wants. The only thing that makes this worse is that while all this is happening, Aiden is waiting in the wings, being forced to watch.

Meanwhile, we really don’t understand what is going on with Jack and Ashley. We get why Jack would be upset with Emily, mostly because what she is doing with Daniel is terrible behavior in his mind thanks to what happened to Amanda Clarke. However, we have no idea for the time being what exactly Ashley has to gain here.
