‘American Idol’ notes: Adam Lambert, Jessica Sanchez, David Cook
As we near the season 12 finale for “American Idol,” we have a number of interesting stories to share for some of the show’s most-popular contestants, beginning with a young lady in Jessica Sanchez who is set to release her debut album “Me, You, & the Music” on Tuesday.
Save for her “American Idol” performance and her arc on “Glee” (which was really just a few seconds during Thursday night’s episode), we have not really seen too much of Sanchez when it comes to performing some new songs from her album. This changed somewhat last night, when she had an opportunity to perform at a venue that seems extremely appropriate for her new songs: a club. The video quality is not the best in the world, but you can hear her perform this song along with another from her album over at the link here.
Adam Lambert’s new PSA – In conjunction with AT&T along with the Trevor Project, Adam has created a new PSA that is all about trying to encourage young LGBT youth to be comfortable within their own skin and to “Live Proud.” Adam was recently honored by the GLAAD Awards for his contributions in working to give back to the community, and this looks to just be a continuation of that effort.
David Cook talks the future – Finally, we turn to the man performing on next week’s “American Idol” results show. The Hollywood Reporter has the first snippet of Cook’s new song “Laying Me Low,” and he also explains to the publication about what he is hoping for his career moving forward as an independent artist:
“The plan right now is just to put the song out and give it as much traction as it deserves. I would love to be putting a record together sooner rather than later. We’re just trying to find a home for it — whether it’s major or DIY or whatever, but I think we have a pocket of six or seven songs that are great material. I feel confident that someone is going to want to put it out.”

Jessica is awesome, the technically perfect singer. Her stuff sounds great! Adam, the stellar singer and performer. No one like him. David Cook, is a cool dude as well as an artist. However, I have to be honest here folks, all I really care about though is hearing Cece Frey’s first album. Aubrey Cleland sang Out Here On My Own very very well, but no comparison to Cece Frey’s version. Wow.

Stellar choice AT&T, you could not have picked a more genuinely nice man to be your spokesman. Adam Lambert can teach all of us a few things, about being positive and living proud, no matter who you are

3 seconds of Jessica Sanchez on GLEE means a lot! Though, I wished for more but I’ll be watching out for the coming episodes next week May 02 and May 09 (4×22). She’s a diva and i’m excited to see her acting and singing on GLEE. Just proud of her achievements for now. And i believe in her music to be known as soon as her album’s gonna be coming out this April 30th (Me, You And The Music). Just praying that everyone will really support her on this. She’s a amazing young dreamer and i wish her more in the music industry. Go Jessica! i love you best!
Thanks for this Article and more power to you!
