‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 20 preview: Regina uses leverage
There’s always something rather entertaining on “Once Upon a Time” about listening to the Evil Queen Regina speak her mind. Oftentimes, she sounds like a good-natured woman with big ideas and hopes of doing the right thing. Unfortunately, she mucks it up soon afterward thanks to her inability to ultimately think of a solution to any problem that does not involve doing horrible things to somebody.
This is perfectly evident in the sneak peek for Sunday’s episode, which is appropriately titled “The Evil Queen.” In a conversation with Henry, she reveals to him first and foremost that some of the people that she is supposed to trust, whether it be Emma, Mary Margaret, or David, have been lying to him about producing magic beans. She says that they want to try and use them to go back home, but she offers him up a different alternative.
What is it? A way to go back in time as though the curse never happened, but he will still be there and will grow up in relative peace. The caveat of this is what really makes Henry (and likely most everyone watching) freak out and in return for this happening, a good chunk of Storybrooke and the town itself will be killed off.
At the end of the day, this choice is hardly a difficult one to make, and the Evil Queen, no matter what she says or does, manages to stay very true to her moniker.
What do you think about this video, and do you think it’s possible for Regina to come up with a good plan anymore that does not involve killing someone? If you want some scoop on the upcoming final episodes of the season, just pay a visit over to this link.
