‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 20 preview: A Claire Holt, Daniel Gillies scene

Just in case you don’t want to wait any longer to see some more video footage from the upcoming “Vampire Diaries” season 4 episode “The Originals,” we now have it below! However, this sneak peek really just serves as a way to have more insight on Rebekah that anything that Klaus is actually trying to do in New Orleans.

Basically, Claire Holt’s character spends a minute or so talking with Daniel Gillies’ Elijah, and she makes it rather clear that if the witches in the French Quarter conspiring against her brother suddenly decide to take him down, she will certainly not have any problem with it at all. As a matter of fact, she seems to be encouraging it in a way. Elijah chides her for her sentiment, but at the same time she speaks the truth.  These three have hardly been “family” as of late more so than just three people trying to find ways to survive.

Ultimately, we don’t really expect Holt to be featured too much in this episode, mostly thanks to the fact that she had not formally signed on to be in the potential spin-off until after the script had already been written. Make no mistake, though, that she would be a full-fledged cast member on the show if The CW picks it up, and have way more exciting things to do than just being an often-angry / jealous female vampire living in Mystic Falls. As for Elijah, he’s going to have his hands full just trying to deal with his brother.
