‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 19 preview: Emma and Regina’s new chat
For our last look at Sunday night’s new “Once Upon a Time” episode prior to it airing, we have a conversation between two characters who just don’t like each other very much right now: Emma and Regina. Of course, there are reasons that we see this on both sides: Emma doesn’t like the fact that Regina basically tried to kill both her and her entire family, while at the same time Regina is of course unhappy about the prospect of not getting Henry.
Speaking of the child, this seems to be what really sets Regina off. After wrapping up her latest bout of being as nasty as she possibly can, Emma warns her that she should start being nice to Henry before “she loses him forever.” What does this mean? Regina believes that Emma is keeping some sort of secret from her, and she quickly becomes determined to find out.
Emma also tells the Evil Queen the Neal is mostly in Storybrooke just to spend time with his kid, which at least seems to be partially true. Regina has of course figured out most of the familial links without anyone really telling her, but in a place that represses just how evil that she can be most of the time, information is one of the greatest powers.
The irony here is that as evil as she thinks she is, Regina may not actually be the biggest threat that exists for these residents right now; instead, it’s Tamara, and the scariest part of it is that no one really knows who she is or what is really trying to do.
