‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ preview: Why is Bret Michaels back?
If there is one thing that we have learned about “The Celebrity Apprentice” over the years, it is that very few things ever seem to make a whole lot of sense. Take for instance last week: Stephen Baldwin was fired by Donald Trump for making a mistake at his part of the task, and the Project Manager, responsible for overseeing everything, in Gary Busey was spared. However, the week before PM Dennis Rodman was fired despite his biggest flaw being a mistake that Trace Adkins was firstly responsible for.
So before you even see the clip below, just go into it with the mantra that things on this show are just not destined to make a whole lot of sense most of the time. Bret Michaels is inexplicably back, and he is talking about how he feels he was “unjustly” fired for a number of things that weren’t completely his fault (which he is probably right about).
However, what is not entirely clear is just why he is back. Is Bret going to compete? If so, we don’t see him on either of the teams in the footage featured (though that could be deliberate). Is he an adviser? If so, then it’s pretty hilarious that he is trying to help Trump fire people who lasted longer on this season than he did. Then again, this is also the role that Bret probably should have been in all along, and so we’ll just try to pretend that the first week never even happened.
What do you think about this promo, and why in the world do you think that Bret Michaels is back? If you want to read our full review, in which we try to make some sense out of Baldwin’s firing, you can do so over at the link here.
