NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 4: Judith Hill, Karina Iglesias go international in new duet
If you think back to the start of “The Voice” battle rounds earlier this week, one of the more memorable battles had to be Judith Hill and Karina Iglesias rocking out to what has to be one of those singing-show songs that really gives you all of the tools you could possibly need in order to dominate: “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.” There is just so much grit and passion here, and there have been a number of great artists who have taken on the song already (with Joshua Ledet from “American Idol” being a personal favorite).
Well, Judith and Karina were apparently not just happy enough to perform the song on the show Monday night; they’ve also released an “international” version online. What do we mean by this? Karina sings all of her parts in Spanish, while Judith takes on hers in Japanese. It’s a way for the two to celebrate their own respective heritages, while at the same time also delivering yet another knockout performance of the song.
So how are these two so happy to perform together even after competing in a battle? There are a few possible reasons:
1. They’re both adult enough to not take anything too competitively, mostly since winning on this show is not always mean everything (and in most cases means nothing).
2. They both advanced anyway thanks to the steal.
3. The idea of this performance was just “too darn cool” (to quote Blake Shelton) for them to pass it up.
We will be seeing both Judith and Karina performing on “The Voice” moving forward this season, but not until after the battle rounds come to an end this coming week.

I find their performance passionate and inspiring… They are both a pride to their hometowns and their respective genres on music
