‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Joe Manganiello on challenge for Alcide
For more on that, just take a look at what Joe Manganiello had to say about his storyline in a new interview with TVLine:
“I think [the producers] looked at some things that went on with Alcide last season, and thought, ‘How can we top that or how can we get even racier?’ And I think they’ve succeeded… Right out of the gate, it’s really juicy.”
While most of what Alcide is doing in the upcoming episodes is still very much under wraps, we do at least know that the following is true:
1. He’s going to be exploring his options romantically, and there are going to be plenty of them courtesy of his newfound status as packmater.
2. His father (played by Robert Patrick) is going to have much more of a role than he did in season 5.
3. The odds of him being with Sookie, at least for now, are going to be around .01%. After all, she is going to have a new love interest of her own courtesy of a fairy.
What do you think about Manganiello’s comments, and do you think that it is a problem for “True Blood” to have to continue to find ways to top itself? If you want to hear what the actor had to say recently about a showrunner change, be sure to visit the link here.
