‘Supernatural’ season 8 finale spoilers: A powerful demon returns
As it turns out, Taylor Cole is not the only actress who is going to be returning to “Supernatural” before the end of the season; unfortunately for Sam and Dean, the other returning lady we know is returning is not going to be a love interest.
In a new post on Twitter, Alaina Huffman shared some pretty exciting news for fans of Abaddon, the powerful demoness who was in many ways responsible for the destruction of the Men of Letters so many years ago:
“All is well with me. Kids/fam are gr8. #Abadon is back… Check out the season 8 finale of #SPN“
So how in the world is she going to be back? This is what we are a little bit unclear on, since Sam and Dean seemed to do a pretty good job in “As Time Goes By” making sure that they would never have to deal with her again after she traveled through time to try and destroy Henry Winchester. Not only did they stick several pieces of her in cement, they also cut off her head. You would hope that this would be enough to kill someone permanently, right? It’s possible that this could just be a flashback, but that seems far less exciting than having her show up in the present day.
The final few episodes of “Supernatural” this season are turning out to be rather exciting. We have the arrival of Metatron, the continuation of the trials storyline, and the drama surrounding whether or not Castiel is ever going to break free of the control Naomi has on him. Overall, it seems as though we’re going to be in for quite an exciting few hours of television.
What do you think is going to happen with the “Supernatural” finale? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can read some more news on Cole’s return over here.

I’m looking forward to the last 3 episodes of this season because Cas will be there! Hope to see much, much more of him in Season 9 and much, much more of Team Free Will working together!

I am a supernatural fanatic I watch it 3 times a day, everyday on TNT and also on Wednesday nights as well. I do believe that season 8 has been one of the best ones yet, and as far as the finale goes it’s going to be epic. However hearing rumors of Season 9 to be the last Season of SUPERNATURAL and that just can’t be, it should at least go up to Season 10 with it ending with GOD granting Dean and Sam the chance to bring back there family and being able to start life over and having the biggest pay off they have ever had. Like for everyone they saved, putting Lucifer back in his cage, saving the world from Armageddon, closing the gates of HELL forever, and closing the Gates of HEAVEN, as well. Sam gets Jessica back, Dean gets Lisa and Ben, there MOM (Mary) and DAD (John), Bobby, you know just something in the neighborhood of that. Anyway PLEASE just don’t end it with an odd number like season 9 O.K. It just has so many people from the past and could have so many more for the future as well, and evil never really dies so there’s always going to be and have an opening for anything and everything…… THANK YOU

I’m sorry but God going “Here you go” to Sam and Dean doesn’t seem like a plausible ending, nor would it fit in to the rest of the show. I understand and believe right along side you that they deserve some sort of happy ending, but bringing those people back would not work.

I am a Supernatural addict-I also watch 3 hours per weekday, except for Wednesday when I watch 3 hours on TNT + 1 hour on the CW. I personally love season GR8 and think it is one of the best-if not THE best-season yet. Really looking forward to an exciting season 8 finale and an amazing season 9. The heart and soul of Supernatural are- and will always be- Dean and Sam & their relationship, but I am also fond of other characters. Castiel is an important friend at this stage, Kevin Tran (& his Mom) are important to the “Tablet” arc, Crowley is an impressive adversary, Naomi is an intriguing enigma, Benny was a true friend to BOTH brothers as it turned out. Of course, everyone loves Bobby. Glad we’ll see “Charlie” (Felicia Day) again, would like to see Jesse (I believe the Children are our future), Adam & the Golem and Krissy Mathews again-maybe Meg and Anna. Just so many interesting characters from past seasons. This show still has so much left to tell.

I hate the character of Cas- I want him gone but sadly he will be used in season 9- hopefully sparingly. He is just a tool that detracts from the real story that will always be the brothers.

Misha (Cas) is a season regular for Season 9. Sorry! And the whole morale of this show is that family doesn’t end with blood, so why can’t Cas be part of their family?

Just keep waiting for Castiel to be killed off for good. Hasn’t happened yet, sadly.

I know that all great things must come to an end. Every year I pray that the show that will not end is Supernatural. I love all of the cast and will be in mourning when it ends – just to sad to think about. LOVE THEM ALL!

If they do ANYTHING to Cas. If they even touch him. No. Just stop it.
