‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Lea Michele wraps filming with Kate Hudson
It looks like we are at the end of an era when it comes to at least one part of “Glee” season 4: Lea Michele working at the “NYADA studio” with Kate Hudson’s Cassandra July. She was one of the noteworthy castings before this season started, and overall the show has done at least a decent job of using her in several episodes as a rival-or-sorts to Rachel, who needed a little bit of tough love (or tough anything) to get accustomed to life in the big apple.
The news was first confirmed by Michele herself, who had the following to say on her time working with Hudson in a new post on her Twitter account:
“Such a great day of work today.. So sad that it was Kate’a last day :( I had the best time in the world working with her this season!”
It seems as though “Glee” executive producer Ryan Murphy is doing his best to make sure that all of the notable guest stars for the season have an opportunity to really have a curtain call. We know already that Sarah Jessica Parker has returned for an episode as Vogue.com editor Isabelle, and we’re also seeing a return of some long-standing guest stars including Idina Menzel (Shelby) and Mike O’Malley (Burt). We’re also expecting at least one more appearance each from Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Beiste) and Jayma Mays (Emma), who is not a series regular this season.
As for how “Glee” is going to cram all of this in with just a small handful of episodes to go this season, let’s just say that Murphy and the writers really do have their work cut out for them here.
