ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: A rather stunning episode title

We should start this “Revenge” season 2 story off with a pretty massive warning, mostly because the content that we are about to discuss is fairly significant: if you want to remain unspoiled about some upcoming major developments on the ABC show, then now is probably the time to stop reading.

If you thought that everything that has been on the show thus far this season was shocking, wait until you learn this: sources are confirming to us that the title for the 20th episode of the season, and the last one before the two-hour finale airs next month, is going to be known other than “Engagement.” Sounds rather romantic, no? Well, it’s obvious that show creator Mike Kelley wanted to send our brains down a certain path with the creation of this, and now we’re left to speculate as to who the two parties could be.

At this point, it almost seems like too big of a spoiler to say much else besides this, but in order for the engagement to be captivating, we think it really has to be between a pair of characters that have the potential to cause a great deal of drama. While a Declan / Charlotte pairing could do this to a certain extent, it is also something that most everyone sees coming at the moment given all of the time that they have spent together.

We’ll ultimately have the answer soon enough, and the plot will surely thicken when the next new “Revenge” season 2 episode airs on ABC beginning on Sunday, April 28 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
