ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 spoilers: Huck’s hairy situation

While we are still looking at a wait for “Scandal” season 2 to return with new episodes on April 25, we do at least have some good news coming out now: an opportunity to take a first look at what Huck looked like at a certain point in his life.

The photo to the left features a very different side of the character than one that we have come to now know; rather than looking like someone who is mysterious or dangerous, he looks like someone who really just needs a bath. “Homeless Huck” (as he shall be called until the episode airs) must have been in a pretty bad situation in order for him to look the way that he does here, but something managed to get him out of his funk. This is what we are hoping will be the focus on much of this episode, rather thank seeing an hour surrounding Huck wallowing around in his own despair.

Of course, it’s all possible that this entire get-up could be misdirection and an act. After all, this character is a master of deception, and what better way is there to blend in to the surroundings of a big city than acting like you are living on the streets? It sets a level of commitment, after all, that few people would want to try and meet. We’ve definitely seen some of this commitment with the character in the present, especially when it comes to some of his interactions with Quinn.
