‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ preview: Gary Busey has the power; act accordingly
As we wrote in our review of last week’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” episode, there comes a time in every season where we end up seeing even the wackiest contestants forced to be Project Manager. You knew that there was only so long that Gary Busey could ultimately avoid stepping up for a task, and on Sunday night’s new episode, he actually volunteers!
While we have every reason to believe that this task will be the equivalent of watching people climb out of a clown car, the truth here is that Busey may actually have a shot at this one. After all, the task is to make a silent movie, and Gary is an Oscar-nominated actor. Not only that, but the guy probably makes big facial expressions like nobody’s business, which is something that you definitely need here.
While Stephen Baldwin and Penn Jillette seem effectively clueless in the video below as to what Busey has up his sleeve, we’re still willing to chalk this reign of Project Manager up as something so crazy that it just might work. It will of course depend on who Gary is up against, but he does at least have some team members with more acting experience than his rivals. At the moment, their best actor is Trace Adkins, and we never would have even said that until the soap-opera challenge with Crystal Light earlier this year.
It’s not entirely clear what the teams are actually trying to make this commercial for in the promo, but we’re guessing that it is some sort of suntan lotion given that people are scantily clad in the desert.
Do you think that Gary actually has a shot at this? If you want to read our full review of Sunday night’s episode, you can do so over at the link here.
