‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, episode 21 preview: The battle over Bailey
Even though “Grey’s Anatomy” aired a repeat on Thursday night, the ABC series still was kind enough to offer us a brief peak into what is coming up on the show April 25 with “Sleeping Monster.” It’s going to be a pretty powerful episode, and one that will be difficult especially for one character in particular: Chandra Wilson’s Bailey.
In case you are wondering why, the evidence is pretty clear based on the episode last week that thanks to a major medical mistake that she made regarding an infection, the Center for Disease Control is going to be breathing down not only Bailey’s neck, but also the entire Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. If there is ever a time in which to know who your real friends are, and who is just pretending in order to make work easier, this is that time. Some doctors are going to be desperate to protect their own hide, and willing to throw Bailey under the bus in order to do so. Meanwhile, some others will stand firmly behind her.
Thankfully, though, there will be some other things going on this week beyond just what Bailey is dealing with. We are also going to be seeing some drama when it comes to Alex and Jo’s relationship, and April has to make a decision of her own when it comes to her future. There are only going to be three episodes left after this one ends, so you have to expect that there will be a major course chartered this week that brings us close to the end of the season.
What do you think about the preview below, and do you think that Bailey is going to get out of this with her job intact? If you want to read some more news when it comes to Bailey on the show, be sure to head on over to the link here.
