‘The X Factor’ USA / UK notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Emblem3, Little Mix
While we eagerly await the latest judging announcements from both the American and British versions of “The X Factor,” why not enjoy a few of the latest stories coming in from the shows? There are no earth-shattering announcements today, but there is some information in here that we are sure some diehard fans of the singing competition will be interested to know.
First of all, do you have questions for Emblem3? The guys from this past season are going to be taking part in a Google+ hangout on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time, so be sure to have some questions fired up for Keaton, Wesley, and Drew as they take some time out from a busy touring schedule. If you haven’t taken part in one of these chats before, it’s a pretty cool way for artists and groups of people to connect with their fans.
Speaking of connecting with their fans , Carly Rose Sonenclar just wrapped up a chat on the official “X Factor” Twitter account earlier this week. While she did not dish much on her upcoming music, she did hand out a little bit of advice for those who are thinking about auditioning for the show in the weeks ahead:
“A lot of people asking for advice about auditioning this season..you will do great!!!!! Have Confidence..I am here rooting for you! :)”
While this may not be the highest-rated show on TV, the benefit that comes with being on here is seemingly that Simon Cowell is really going to try to put some people around you to help you on your way to stardom.
Finally, airplay news – While there’s no acts from the American “X Factor” currently on the top 40 radio chart, Demi Lovato’s new single “Heart Attack” has surged up into the top 10 for the first time. Meanwhile, we still have a trio of stars from the British show in the top 40 in Olly Murs (#12), Cher Lloyd (#27), and Little Mix (#28). The girl group at the end is still being heavily promoted in America, much like One Direction was a year ago.
If you want to read some more “X Factor” news when it comes to Carly, as well as Tulisa Contostavlos’ exit from the British version of the show, be sure to check out the story over at the link here.

I’m starting to think x factor usa is a big joke because they haven’t produced any stars. At All. I mean I could’ve told Simon Melanie Amaro and Tate Stevens would flop. Same with Chris Rene, Josh something, and Rachel Crow. I can honestly say Fifth Harmony and Carly Rose will probably be the only success stories. I’ve heard Emblem 3’s single and I’m not impressed. I’m 18. The target demo and I don’t find it catchy or relatable.

Hello! Seriously? The Google + Hangout with Emblem3 happened YESTERDAY! When Emblem3 meant Thursday, they meant yesterday’s Thursday.
