‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Stephen R. McQueen poised to return
We posted earlier in the day that there could very well be a character coming back from the dead before “The Vampire Diaries” season 4 comes to a close … and the following bit of news may be more validation of this very thing.
According to a report from TVLine, Stephen R. McQueen has signed up to make at least one more appearance as Jeremy before the finale, though it is not exactly clear what the context of the appearance will be. Is it possible that Kat Graham’s Bonnie decides to ultimately bring him and an assortment of other spirits from the world of the dead back? Sure. However, it is also certainly possible that he could be seen in a flashback / dream sequence, or that Silas, in another move to be completely horrible, disguises himself as Elena’s little brother.
The last we saw of Jeremy breathing on the show, he was killed by Katherine. It was this move that ultimately led to Damon telling Elena to turn off her humanity, and thanks to this, she let his body burn along with many other belonging from her past. This was truly a watershed moment for Nina Dobrev’s character, and over the past several weeks the questions surrounding her have been pretty simple: is there a way for the old Elena to return, or are we just stuck with this version of the character forever? Hopefully, the reappearance of Jeremy will help shed a little bit of light on this issue.
What do you think about Jeremy returning to “The Vampire Diaries” before season 4 ends, and do you have any predictions when it comes to context?
