‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: First photo of Lea Michele, Naya Rivera ‘At the Ballet’

As you may have read in some of our recent articles, “Glee” is getting set to unleash a new number featuring Sarah Jessica Parker in the near future; and now, we have the first photo of what this very performance will look like.

The photo attached here comes courtesy of the show’s executive producer in Ryan Murphy, and he gave it the caption of “At the Ballet.” The context should be clear pretty much from the get-go that Murphy is talking about the performance from the hit Broadway show “A Chorus Line,” and it will feature Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Santana (Naya Rivera), and Isabelle (Parker) performing in some pretty fancy outfits, almost as though they are going to the ballet.

What remains the most curious part of this performance to us is the fact that they are standing on what could be the stage of any theater in America. What would Isabelle have to do there? One of the biggest challenges with this character is merely that it is hard to really place her somewhere that makes sense with the show right now; and honestly, one of the biggest reasons behind her return could simply be that the show wants to make sure that they wrap up the story with Vogue.com and Kurt by the end of the season.

There’s no definitive word on when this performance will air, but our guess is either episode 20, or the penultimate one of the season airing the following week. (Cory Monteith is going to be off for the final two after entering a treatment facility.)
