‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Is Joseph Morgan done after ‘The Originals’?

KlausWith there only being one episode of “The Vampire Diaries” left before the arrival of “The Originals,” there is a question that has been on our mind for quite some time now: are we going to see the likes of Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah all migrate permanently to New Orleans during this episode, or will they still turn in some more appearances on the flagship series before getting to that point? Well, we at least now have a partial answer, and it’s a good one if you are a big fan of the show’s longtime Big Bad.

According to Zap2It, Joseph Morgan will for sure appear it at least one of the final three episodes of season 4, and possibly more given what the arc for Klaus is leading up to the finale. As for the status of both Claire Holt and Daniel Gillies, that’s a little bit more unclear; then again, these two have not made the same number of appearances on the show over the years as Klaus has, and are not tied at the moment to a series regular the same way that Klaus to Caroline.

Even if “The Originals” does get picked up to series (which seems very likely at the moment), it remains possible that we could see Klaus or any of the other characters from the spin-off make their way towards the flagship show from time to time just for the sake of crossover potential (which The CW would certainly love when it comes to ratings). By the same token, don’t be surprised if Caroline comes to New Orleans from time to time (or at least the New Orleans set that would be constructed in Atlanta).
