‘Burn Notice’ season 7 premiere date, 100th episode confirmed by Jeffrey Donovan
Good news, “Burn Notice” fans: you now have a date to officially put on your calendars as to when the next season of your beloved show will kick off.
In a new post on his Twitter account, star Jeffrey Donovan confirmed that season 7 will begin with new episodes on Thursday, June 6; in addition to that, the following week will be the show’s 100th episode, which should be a pretty nice celebration of just how far the Miami-set series has come since the very beginning. It will also be the second straight USA series to hit that milestone after “Psych,” who had a glorious bet of fun recently in celebration of them making it to this point.
Unfortunately, most details surrounding the show’s seventh season are still being kept under wraps, with the major exception being that we know Michael Westen is seemingly in the employ now of the CIA as a part of a move to protect his friends. What does this really mean? We assume that he will be much more cut off from Fiona, Sam, and Jesse than he has been, and he will no longer be in so much control of his missions … that is, unless he finds a way to get out of it. We know that Jack Coleman (“Heroes,” “Castle”) is going to be one of the guest stars who stops by for at least an episode, and Adrian Pasdar (also of “Heroes”) will also have a role to play.
What do you think about the premiere date, and are you hoping for any one thing in particular from “Burn Notice” this season? If you want to read some more news in regards to the show, you can do so just by heading on over to the link here.
