‘Downton Abbey’ season 4: Notes on Joanne Froggatt, another spoof video
Since this is April Fools’ Day, it would be completely and utterly wrong if we were to not post something that serves as a “Downton Abbey” season 4 spoof. This one may even feel a little bit familiar in some ways, mostly because we have already endured a number of “Walking Dead”-related crossovers in the past following the way in which (spoiler!) Matthew and Sybil each died during the ITV and PBS series’ third season.
What makes this one slightly different is that it comes to us courtesy of Vine, that super-cool application that basically allows you to most very tiny gif-like videos complete with sound. As for the content, we really don’t want to give everything away and spoil all of the laughs. Just be sure to check it out below.
Meanwhile, let’s go from looking dead to both looking and feeling alive now, and it comes to us courtesy of series star Joanne Froggatt. Speaking as a part of a new interview with the New York Times, the actress was kind enough recently to share a few thoughts with the New York Times about the fashion of her character of Anna, and how she becomes this character every time that she visits the set.
Here is ultimately what the Emmy nominee had to say:
“Anna’s beauty is discreet and clean. She is supposed to look like she has no makeup on. Of course, makeup is applied to look that way. It’s no-makeup makeup … They actually use airbrush makeup for the show. They sheer it out so my skin looks even yet natural. The great thing about it is it lasts all day. My skin tone is made to look paler than I am. Then it’s just a bit of concealer where needed, a touch of blush and brow filler.”
