‘Once Upon a Time’ spin-off spoilers: Meet ‘Wonderland’s’ Knave of Hearts
While there may not be too much in the way of “Once Upon a Time” season 2 news coming out at the moment, we do at least have some more scoop when it comes to “Wonderland” spin-off show that is going to start filming next month.
Sources are confirming that Michael Socha, known for his part in the BBC version of “Being Human” and for looking quite a bit like another actor in Jake Gyllenhaal, has been cast to play the part in the Knave of Hearts in the pilot, which will begin production on April 7. In case you have not heard yet, this project is carrying with it for now the tentative name of “Once: Wonderland,” and is being designed in some ways similar to what “American Horror Story” has done with a different sort of story every year.
The Knave is a man who is incredibly charming, and also has a passion for being adventurous. However, there is also a dark side to being someone who so often has a thirst for getting out there and embracing action at every turn; he is very much a loner, and has established quite a reputation over the years for breaking many hearts.
While we have speculated in the past on whether or not we could see this spin-off ultimately get picked up to series, the reality is that it is still far too early to really know for sure. While the sagging ratings for the flagship series may play a part in figuring out the decision, you also have to consider that the network may be looking for a certain quality from the show, which it may or may not be able to deliver.
