‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Is Mona now the key?
If there is one thing that we really should know by now when it comes to “Pretty Little Liars,” it is that the vast majority of all of the alliances we see in Rosewood are pretty fluid. The folks that we start off trusting can seemingly betray you, and then find a way to enter your good graces again. If you are looking for some sort of example to that, there’s really no better one at this point that Toby. During the midseason premiere, we didn’t think that there was any way in the world that we’d believe anything that he said. Now, we feel like we’ve gone to hell and back with him, and he may actually be someone that Spencer could rely on.
So could we ultimately have the same sort of situation with Mona? The difference here is that at least for a time, she clearly was out to hurt Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily in some shape or form over the way in which they mistreated her. However, she may feel a different sort of motivation now, especially when you consider the fact that she has also been betrayed with the knowledge that Alison could still be alive.
Could these five find a way to suddenly work together? We don’t particularly know the answer to that just yet, but executive producer Marlene King posted in a recent message on her Twitter account that Mona “spills” a good many answers during the season 4 premiere on June 11. There certainly a number that are out there include who killed Ian, who killed Garrett, what’s going on with Jenna, Shana, and Melissa, and of course what is going to happen next. Mona is someone that the Liars surely have to keep in check, but you never know: she could go from being a great enemy to a great asset.
Do you think Mona could become some sort of bizarre friend to the Liars now? If you want to check out some more “Pretty Little Liars” scoop about Jenna and Shana, you can do so over at the link here.
