‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10 spoilers: Marilu Henner, Ashton Kutcher team up
While we may be cynical all we want about “The Celebrity Apprentice” being a cheesy show, all you have to do is look at some of the results to see how it has helped to revive the careers of some of its participants. Piers Morgan now hosts a CNN show, Joan Rivers has “Fashion Police,” Curtis Stone is hosting “Top Chef Masters,” and the reigning champ Arsenio Hall is getting closer to a return to late-night.
So who is benefiting now from the extra time in the spotlight? It appears to be none other than Marilu Henner on “Two and a Half Men.” According to a new report from TVLine, the legendary former “Taxi” star has been booked to guest-star in the upcoming season 10 finale, where she will be playing the grandmother of a woman that Ashton Kutcher’s character of Walden Schmidt is dating. However, in a twist that would really only happen on a Chuck Lorre show, it is revealed not long after that Walden actually ends up falling for Henner’s character instead.
Given that this show has been such a staple of primetime TV over the years, we have a feeling that the ending would be much more dramatic here if “Two and a Half Men” was really about to drop the curtain for good. CBS is in talks with the actors already about bringing the show back for a season 11, and we imagine now that the endgame for Walden could involve Brooke D’Orsay’s character of Kate, who he has his most memorable romance with earlier this season before revealing his “Prince and the Pauper”-esque lie to her.
What do you think about Henner’s casting? You can check out her for the time being Sunday night’s on NBC, and you can also read some more news pertaining to Jon Cryer’s Alan over at the link here.
