‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 19: A return of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley?

If you are a major fan of Damon and Elena on “The Vampire Diaries” as a couple, then it is possible that the following extended promo from the next new episode “Pictures of You” is going to send you into some sort of rage. Just when you start to think that we have a new pairing set in stone for the season, the idea of Elena and Stefan together comes creeping back in.

But is Stefan really being genuine with his feelings? That is the question that we really get in our head after watching the first promo for the episode below. Rather than acting as though she is really sincere with either Salvatore brother, Nina Dobrev just seems to be toying with them in order to stun on the same level that she did at the end of last night’s episode; then again, it’s also possible that both Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder’s alter egos are trying to purposefully seduce her in an effort to reel her back in.

This episode will feature the return of Bonnie after a week off, and hopefully we will get a chance to get a window into what is going on with her next. Whatever does happen here, know this: it has to carry over well into the backdoor pilot for “The Originals.” This episode is airing on April 18, just one week before Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah are going to take off to New Orleans to potentially start a new life.
