‘Dancing with the Stars 16’ spoilers: Sean Lowe, Peta Murgatroyd talk prom dance

When you are sixteen seasons into any show, it is understandably a little bit difficult that you have to come up with new themes, and new ways for your audience to consistently be entertained. However, the folks behind ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” are finding a way to do it, and Monday night’s prom theme is definitely going to be a touch of something completely different.

So what are one pair of performers in Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd hoping to bring to the proceedings? The “Bachelor” star and his partner spoke to On the Red Carpet after the results show Tuesday night, and in it he started things off by explaining that he while he is hoping to have fun, he’s also rather interested in making sure that he has the actual dance portion of the performance down pat:

“We want to make it positive, we want to make it fun, but at the same time we want the judges to appreciate how good our Cha-Cha is.”

Meanwhile, Peta added to the publication that that “it’s prom night so it’s gotta be fun and exhilarating.” With that in mind, look for this to be one of those crazy prom dances that you see in movies all the time, and not one of those sappy ones that half the guys who attend typically end up standing around for.

The good news for Sean and Peta is that despite being around the middle of the pack when it comes to their scores, we have a feeling that they are still going to be safe for a little while. After all, he does have that enormous fanbase from his other show.
