‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: Peter Dinklage has some fun with Jon Stewart (video)
Since getting the opportunity to see Peter Dinklage interviews is by and large pretty rare, shouldn’t we take advantage of it now every chance that we can? The actor made an appearance earlier this week on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” in order to promote what lies ahead on “Game of Thrones” season 3, and what came out of this was ultimately a funny, enlightening chat that really gave us a sense of the Emmy-winner’s perception of both the show and its diehard fans.
Perhaps the most enjoyable part of this clip is that Stewart really didn’t press the actor much for information at all, likely because he knew that he wasn’t going to get anywhere. Instead, the two talked a little bit about how production works for the series, how they are able to avoid paparazzi while doing all of this work, and they even coin a new phrase along the way.
Dinklage’s Tyrion is once again going to be a principal character on the show, but he will certainly not be alone this time around among the Lannister family. The first few episodes of the season are already receiving plenty of buzz for the scenes involving Jaime and Brienne, and we already know that King’s Landing is going to be a far more different (and even at times) dangerous place with Tywin running the show as Hand of the King. Will Joffrey listen to him of all people? Let’s hope so; after all, he has certainly decided that he is no longer giving his mother Cersei the time of day.
Want more “Game of Thrones” scoop? If so, it’s understandable given how high the anticipation is for what lies ahead. You can read more news from the show, including some more from Lena Headey about Cersei’s role, over at the link here.
