‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, episode 19 preview: April, Jackson get awkward

Are we getting closer to seeing a Jackson – April reconciliation on “Grey’s Anatomy” this season? It’s a little bit early to say that; however, we can at least say that the two do seemingly have a knack now for acting completely unnatural around each other.

In the latest sneak peek below from Thursday night’s new episode “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” you can see none other than Jesse Williams’ character receive a rather shocking surprise when Sarah Drew’s alter ego walks in the door, and then become quickly horrified by what she sees: Jackson having to do some work on a pretty disgusting injury to another man’s butt. Considering that these people are doctors, you would really think that they would be a little bit more willing and able to tackle such things. However, this is “Grey’s Anatomy,” where doctors freak out on a pretty regular basis.

April also has clearly quite a bit on her mind right now when it comes to Jackson: she has started to seriously question everything in regards to her personal life, especially after what happened with the two of them earlier this season along with recent events with Matthew. Much has changed for both of them professionally, as well, as of late: while Jackson has been forced to take on a much more substantial role at Seattle Grace, April has been fighting hard in order to make sure that the emergency room does not fall by the wayside.
