ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 spoilers: Olivia Pope deals with the past
When you are someone who makes a living trying to fix problems, there are a few certain things that you almost have to prepare for, and one of them is the possibility of something you’ve supposedly resolved coming back to bite you in a big way. This is something that we will specifically see on an upcoming episode 2 episode of “Scandal” entitled “Molly, You in Danger, Girl,” which suggests that Olivia Pope and Associates have managed to land themselves in hot water courtesy of something that was of their own doing.
This episode is going to air on Thursday, April 4, and the official synopsis courtesy of ABC gives us a taste of just what we are going to expect:
“When details from an old case don’t add up, Olivia’s team must backtrack to figure out if they made a mistake. Worse still, this mistake has potentially put them all in serious danger. Meanwhile, Olivia and Jake’s relationship starts to heat up, while at the White House Fitz and Mellie’s relationship hits a new low.”
Considering that one of the biggest questions that every “Scandal” fan has these days is whether or not Olivia and Fitz will get back together, we almost have to analyze this synopsis with the following question in mind: is this story going to bring them closer together, or tear them further apart? At the end of the day, it feels like the answer lies somewhere in between. Olivia may actually start to believe that she is on the road to happiness, though she unfortunately may not realize the sort of connections that are there already between Scott Foley’s character and the President.
What do you think of the idea behind this episode? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts below, and you can read some more news pertaining to Thursday night’s new episode over at the link here.

Can someone please explain to me what Fitz is doing so badly? The love of his life betrayed him, as of today she never apologized. He did call her on false pretense and niether said what they really wanted to say, this is one of those things that’s wrong with them. Do you really feel Fitz is saying anything you wouldn’t say if you were in his shoes. You’re hurt, you’re still in love, the person moving on without you, and all you really want to know is that person loved you as much as you loved them. What you guys had was real. I believe he would listen if Olivia start her conversation I know I betrayed you and I’m sorry. I can’t change the past and I never stop loving you. He just want to feel that something about thier relationship was real.

I think this latest test of Olivia and Fitz has long ago warn itself out and now its getting to the point where its becoming a drag. Its long past time to put Olitz back together. Although I love the show three quarters of the reason why I watch the show is because of the relationship between Olivia and Fitz. I know that the constant push and pull between them is considered drama but it can be over done. And it seems like its out of balance as well. We go through very very long periods of them being pulled apart followed by all to brief periods of them together and in love. I think the writers need to find a better way to balnce that out a little more.

Shoot I love Scandal so much I even loves the assasins Charlie and Huck. I am an olitz shipper but I understand the story has to play itself out and what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. fitz can sleep with his wife mellie even as he is in love with Liv while they are apart she can find some Happy with Jake hope he is not Creepy Jake or some else maybe even get married and pop put a couple kids to even the playing field. I dont believe olitz will find their way back to each other until season 3 or 4 because mellie is gonna use every trick in her book to stop a divorce but hopefully Fitz will realize be has been an ass and that Liv has always looked out for him even if she made a huge blunder in going along with Hollis. She made the wrong decision for the right reasons.

While I loved the Olitz of pre-Defiance disclosure, I don’t watch the show for Olitz. I watch it because of the gloriousness that is Kerry Washington’s Olivia Pope and her Gladiators. Then there’s David, Cyrus, Mellie, James, little Ella, little Teddy, and Hollis. I love them all. Also, I’m madly in love with Scott Foley’s character CAPT Jake Ballard.I cannot get enough of Jake and Liv scenes. They’re romantic, sexy, and HOT!! I’m looking forward to their first kiss. I was addicted to the show before Scott Foley but he has made by my addiction multiply by 1000%.

They will get back together. Don’t know when, but they are the force that drives the show. I’ll need to see a reunion soon. Don’t get me wrong, it is a great show, but right now, something’s missing. That spark, the magic that is Liv and Fitz. Bring them back, please!

Would love for Fitz to realize finally that Olivia was/is on his side, but now she is so far out of his reach, she’s untouchable. He needs to suffer a bit for his demeaning treatment of her. Furthermore, Fitz is due for an Olivia Pope style set-down. Something akin to the ” Stolen Moments” scene. It’s now tiring seeing her tormented by him and seems a bit out of character for a pragmatist, realist, fighter like her. Granted she loves him and is vulnerable but at some point her natural “spine” and backbone should kick in and she should go off.
