‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 18: A Ian Somerhalder – Paul Wesley scene
For those of you who have been waiting for it, the first sneak peek for next week’s “Vampire Diaries” episode (entitled “American Gothic”) is here, and based on what we are seeing right now, it appears as though we are going to be in for quite a show. Why? For the first time in pretty much forever, the Salvatore brothers are on the same page!
The first thing that the video below does for us is show just how bad of a situation Damon got himself in after Rebekah snapped his neck: his car was taken from him, and he really had to rely on Stefan to bail him out (which will surely be a sticking point for some time to come). Now, Ian Somrehalder and Paul Wesley’s characters are going to be on a crash course to Pennsylvania in order to put a stop to some of the madness going on with Elena, Rebekah, and Katherine. They need the cure in their possession, and they need to use it to turn a certain vampire back into the girl that they both used to love.
In the process, it also seems as though Stefan is going to have a second job in here of trying to make sure he cools Damon’s jets. He is still going to be angry at Rebekah for humiliating him, so the thought does understandably cross his mind to try and enact a little bit of revenge courtesy of giving her the cure and snapping her neck. However, that really won’t get him anywhere at all, will it?
What do you think about this video, and are you glad to see the Salvatores back on the same team again? We want to hear from you below, and you can also watch the promo for “American Gothic” over at the link here.
