‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Time jump chatter and more
For those of you who caught “Sons of Anarchy” executive producer Kurt Sutter’s latest Twitter Q&A session on Tuesday night, then you are already well aware of some of the following scoop. For those who didn’t and have some sort of aversion to social media, we finally have at least one detail about the upcoming season 6 premiere airing this fall on FX.
While there are a good percentage of Sutter’s responses to fans that are comedic, he did say in a serious moment that the premiere is going to jump forward mere days after Tara’s arrest and the other events at the end of season 5, which means that Sutter is not going to gloss over some of the difficult transition parts of the story. For many shows, they like to jump the story forward in new seasons in order to go along with the actors aging, and to also create a new set of circumstances for the characters that is somewhat freed up from the events of the past. Luckily, that doesn’t appear to be happening here unless there is a jump happening further on down the line.
As for some quick hits pertaining to actors, Sutter said that he is hoping to have Billy Brown back for some more work as August, and we’d personally love to see it so long as he doesn’t get killed off as quickly as he has in (spoiler!) both “The Following” and “Dexter” in the past year. On a more random note, he didn’t shut the door completely on possibly casting the rehab-bound Lindsay Lohan for a guest-starring role, which may not be too big of a surprise in that he has taken chances on a variety of guest stars in the past, including musicians (Dave Navarro), actors with checkered pasts, and people with little experience in drama (Joel McHale).
Do you think a shorter time jump is the right move for at least the start of the season? In addition to sharing your thoughts below, be sure to also watch Sutter’s latest video about a meeting with Charlie Hunnam over at the link here.

I just love the way Kurt Sutter and his team wrote this script.I’ve watchedI was won all 5 seasons over ans over again wondering what’s gonna happen next.I was wondering if Sutter will ever write this story fron the very beginning starting with John Teller and Clay Morrow. How the first 9ers got started originally.that would be exiting to see bring us up to speed fron the very beginning.

mmm… ok, Tommy… You obviously have lived “ny” the code. Maybe school would’ve been the better option? People watch the show because it’s outstanding. Wannabes? I’m sorry, but wanna be what? lol! And here I thought this show actually had a brighter audience than the other pointless series on television.

I am ready for season 6, season 5 was to say the least a rollercoaster, within the 3rd episode Opie was killed off, and the rollercoaster ride kept us going until the finale. Whatever Sutter does is brilliant, so I cannot wait. I have all 4 seasons, with season 5 on DVR still. Can’t erase until the DVD comes out. I just jumped into the show begining of Season 4 and have been absolutely obsessed

Don’t take anything that Kurt Sutter says as gospel. He’s a smart arse and tends to exaggerate, therefore you can’t decipher fact from fiction.

OMGSH I’m so excited… I’m having major withdrawals, which I soothe by watching all 5 seasons over and over again. However, I need Season 6 now!!! I hope nothing happens to my Juicey… I’d die… Ope was enough to break my heart, Juice would kill me.
