‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8 spoilers: ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress in as…

There is not too much time left on “How I Met Your Mother,” especially when it comes to storylines that do not have very much to do with the upcoming Barney-and-Robin wedding. With that in mind, the following story could be a welcome (and possibly hilarious) change of course.

Sources have confirmed that recent “Hart of Dixie” guest star Mircea Monroe will be making a guest-starring appearance as a woman who stops by the famous MacLaren’s wearing a rather interesting outfit: a coat that is more than a little bit too large for her. With that in mind, the other characters are going spend a little bit of time trying to figure out whether or not she has a nice body underneath the coat.

Does this story sound a little obnoxious? Sure, but the series has quite a habit of making sure that guys who act a little bit chauvinistic tend to be punished for it. (Plus, it’s also possible that Lily or even Robin gets themselves involved in the guessing game.)

Ultimately, we don’t really see this woman having much of a role in the grand scheme of things. After all, why would we meet the Mother under such bizarre circumstances? This is more likely to just be one of those B or C-plots that is meant to just draw a few laughs here and there, and to keep the other story during the episode fresh.
