‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Look who’s returning for the tenure battle!

Big Bang TheoryEarlier this month, we published a scoop that on an upcoming episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” two guest stars from earlier this season would be making a return appearance in a very interesting way. Now, CBS has confirmed that these appearances will come in the April 4 episode entitled “The Tenure Turbulence,” and the actors in question are Regina King (Mrs. Davis, the HR employee) and John Ross Bowie (otherwise known as Kripke).

Sadly, neither party, while listed as being in the part of the installment’s guest cast, appears in the rather cut-and-dry official synopsis:

“Leonard, Sheldon and Raj fight for tenure at the University, and the competition heats up when the girls get involved.”

Yes, it does appear right away here that one person in Howard Wolowitz is going to get more or less left in the dust, with the primary reason for that similarly being that he is not a doctor, and therefore not eligible for tenure at this time. Then again, he’s also an astronaut and we really can’t see him being particularly unhappy as of this time.

While this may not have anything to do with the story of this episode, what we do want to point out here is that there are only four episodes left after this one, and there is some ground left to cover including whether or not Sheldon and Amy will make any more progress in their relationship, and if Raj’s bond with Lucy actually sticks after some attempts to try and make it happen.
