‘Burn Notice’ season 7 spoilers: ‘Heroes,’ ‘Castle’ actor Jack Coleman signs on
If there is one person you want to play a tough-guy role shrouded in some mystery, Jack Coleman is who you want to call. He’s been more than sleazy as Senator Bracken on Castle, he tormented his own daughter on “The Vampire Diaries,” and of course he is still well-known for being the man with the horn-rimmed glasses on “Heroes.”
So where is he taking off to now? How about the world of “Burn Notice”! According to Deadline, Coleman is going to be coming on board the USA drama for a recurring role as Andrew Strong, a high-ranking officer in the CIA who decides to put Michael Westen through the wringer. As you may recall, Jeffrey Donovan’s character made the decision to go back to the agency in the finale in order to protect many of his friends and loved ones, and the impact of that choice is probably going to be catastrophic.
How much so? As it turns out, it looks as though Michael and Fiona are no longer going to be together. The same report also claims that “The Closer” alum Stephen Martines will also be on board the new season as the new boyfriend to Gabrielle Anwar’s character, a bounty hunter by the name of Carlos Cruz. We don’t know how long he will be around for, but we have a feeling that Michael will probably resent his presence based on the feelings that he does have.
We don’t know how Fiona goes from being with Michael to a new man, but our assumption is that there will probably be some sort of time jump between seasons, that way Michael is more used to his post and Fiona is used to not being around him anymore.
