‘Bones’ season 8 spoilers, David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel talk ‘wedding’
So it’s no secret that “Bones” fans want to see Booth and Brennan get married eventually and all the funny subplots that would come along with Brennan trying to plan a wedding (that would likely include form of molecular gastronomy at the reception or other science related events), but what everyone really wants to know is if this wedding is actually ever going to happen?
It has already been teased that there will be a wedding before “Bones” season 8 wraps up, but at this point no one knows who it will be. While Brennan and Booth would be the obvious choice, it’s probably not them, since a Booth and Brennan wedding would probably be more of the series end game and it has just been renewed for a 9th season. In a new interview with TVLine, David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel reveal a few juicy tidbits about a wedding for Brennan and Booth. Deschanel said: “I feel like at some point Booth and Brennan will get married, it’s just gonna happen. The fans want to see us together. There are fans that didn’t want to see us stay together, but most people wanted us to get together.” When pressed further, Deschanel reveals that Booth and Brennan will go ring shopping at one point. She said: “Lets say that we do go ring shopping. I mean we do in an episode.”
Boreanaz on the other hand feels that Booth and Brennan won’t get married and suggests that just because they are in a ring shop in an upcoming episode doesn’t mean that they will be getting married. He said: “We might be investigating someone who works at a ring shop and therefore we may not be actually ring shopping we may just be at the ring shop. So everybody can come to this conclusion that oh they are getting ready to get married, but listen – we aren’t getting married on this show, I’ll tell you that right now, so that’s the inside scoop from me.”
