‘Grey’s Anatony’ season 9 spoilers: Who’s sniffing around Seattle Grace?

As if things were not complicated enough already in the world of “Grey’s Anatomy,” we have the following news to share that is certainly going to cause some characters on the beloved ABC series to start shaking in their boots: a lead investigator is coming soon to Seattle Grace.

According to a new report from E! News, this investigator is going to arrive fairly close to the end of the season. Unfortunately, we don’t quite know at the moment just what purpose the character is really serving by being there. Are they intentionally out to cause problems? Well, define “intent.” An investigator would not be wasting their time at the hospital unless there was a genuine need to be there, and what this really suggests to us more than anything is that while Shonda Rhimes has already promised that there will not be a shocking death at the end of the season, we could still see something that is in the tragic vein of her work thus far.

“Grey’s Anatomy” will be finally returning with new episodes beginning on Thursday night, and one of the major stories we expect to see covered on the series moving forward is Jackson’s progress now trying to lead the hospital. Catherine Avery was kind enough to help lead the new purchase of the hospital with the help of the doctors. Unfortunately, what she was also decided was to make her own son one of the guys in charge. Is he really going to be able to steer this ship, or is it a little much to force someone so young into a place of such responsibility? At the moment, we are leaning towards the latter.
