‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’: Last look at Brandon Hantz, Phillip Sheppard
Before Wednesday night’s new episode of “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites” ends up airing on TV, we thought it prudent to share one final video of what is shaping up to be one of the nastiest, scariest moments in the history of the show. Remember this: there have been over 25 seasons of this show, and literally over 300 tribal councils, and never once has Jeff Probst seen the need to hold an impromptu tribal council.
There are no spoilers ahead, just speculation based on the preview below. We’d say that you’ve been warned, but we really don’t quite know just what we would be warning you about.
Based on precedent, and the fact that it appears as though the final fight scene between Brandon and Phillip is taking place at the immunity challenge, we have to imagine that this discussion about having an immediate tribal council comes about as a result of the Favorites either losing the challenge, or simply deciding to throw it in favor of just getting rid of someone who they have determined to be a cancer to the tribe. In order for this to happen, you have to imagine that there something so bad that went down that the producers could not bear the thought of sending the entire tribe back to camp.
Unfortunately, we still feel as though there is something pretty substantial that we are missing in some of these promos; while dumping out the rice is clearly bad, is it really worse than what Brandon’s uncle Russell did? It may ultimately be this and his history of instability that really ends up crossing the line.
Based on everything that we have seen to this point, do you think that there is any hope that Brandon actually ends up winning this challenge? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can check out some more of our contestant rankings over at the link here.

I am VERY proud that someone finally stood up for democracy rather than have a person like Phil, who acted like a messed up dictator trying to control all the scared little mice. After seeing Phil on another years Survivor episodes, I just could not watch Survivor again EXCEPT for last Season which was the “Best”, ever!
I did not like Survivor before just because of watching people control others who were weak willed, but Brandon made me want to keep watching it as FINALLY someone was not afraid to stand up for what was right, even if everyone thought he was standing alone. Brandon will be remembered. Phil reminded me of a dictator telling everyone what to do and they just followed, like they had no brain…along with actually thinking they were going to win a million dollars. Money is not worth being humiliated for money comes and goes but memories last forever It was just perfect…him, allowing himself to be controlled and belittled! I do think Brandon should have walked away for awhile to cool down before dumping the rice and beans but I was getting so frustrated with that Phil. It was a GREAT episode….but sad to see Brandon go. I would have liked to have seen him moved over to the other tribe even though they were the Fans! It was not right he had to leave!

That was the craziest episode of survivor that I have ever seen. I feel bad for Brandon. While Phillip is no less crazy than Brandon implied, Brandon is lacking the coping skills that would have let Phillip sink Phillip rather than Brandon doing himself in.
