‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Check out the premiere synopsis!
We know that “Game of Thrones” season 3 will be back on HBO on March 31, and now have something nice to go along with it: some of the first official details from the network about the season premiere.
This episode is going to be entitled “Valar Dohaeris,” and it sounds as though the series is really not going to waste much time at all setting the stage for some of the character’s primary storylines. We are going to meet Cirian Hinds’ character of Mance Rayder during the hour, Dany is going to be in a new location, and Sansa’s journey is about to take a turn in a very unexpected direction after falling out of favor with both Tyrion and all of the Lannisters.
Check out the full synopsis below:
“Jon is brought before Mance Rayder, the King Beyond the Wall, while the Night’s Watch survivors retreat south. In King’s Landing, Tyrion asks for his reward. Littlefinger offers Sansa a way out. Cersei hosts a dinner for the royal family. Daenerys sails into Slaver’s Bay.”
While this may sound rather short and to the point, this is actually still some of the most detail that HBO has ever really realized about one of the upcoming episodes of the series. As the season goes on, you can expect some of these synopses to get more and more vague. While we know that most of the major players for the year will be the same, both Hinds and Diana Rigg are each going to at least have some integral roles in how our heroes (or villains) progress.
