‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: First video of Matthew Perry’s return

The Good WifeMatthew Perry was one of the best parts of the third season of “The Good Wife,” but thanks in part to his new role on NBC’s “Go On,” he has not been able to be a contributor at all for this current batch of episodes.

But could that be changing in the very near future? The answer to that is “definitely.” As you can see in the video below, the former “Friends” star is going to be back as a guest star for this upcoming episode on Sunday night, and he is going to be engaged in some verbal warfare with Alicia, who is clearly onto him in just about every way that she can be. No one plays smarmy like Perry does, and we’re already excited to see what he ends up bringing to the show this time around.

This episode is entitled “Invitation to an Inquest,” and while the official description for the episode (per TV Guide) teases that we are going to have an opportunity to see Alicia and Will spend quite a bit of time together, not all of it is going to be of the positive variety. Meanwhile, we are also set to see plenty of drama coming up courtesy of Eli and Jordan:

“Alicia and Will are hindered at a coroner’s inquest by a strict rule that only allows them to ask three questions per witness. Meanwhile, Cary’s father returns and brings new business to the firm; and Eli plots to take down Jordan.”

What did you think about Sunday night’s episode, and are you excited to see Perry back for more? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts below, and you can hear what Morena Baccarin has to say about her upcoming story on the show over at the link here.
