‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: Veto ceremony results … and hockey

Canada CastIt has been a long, long wait for the “Big Brother Canada” live feeds to come back on, and while we thought about doing an article about Talla playing with a stuffed monkey earlier in the day, we thought it best to wait until the end of the Power of Veto Competition before sharing anything else.

Almost immediately, it became apparent that Suzette did not win the Veto based on the conversation that she had with Jillian, where she apologized for every giving her the idea that she was talking smack behind her back.

The saddest thing right now is that even more so than Kat the first week, Suzette seems to have already accepted her fate and is ready to head out the door. While Kat had merely just grown to be okay with it because she had no recourse, Suzette simply doesn’t seem to care. She doesn’t really seem to be interested in the game, and with that in mind it’s hard to say that we are really going to miss her.

As for the competition itself, it seems to involve some sort of hockey theme, and the extra players were Liza, Topaz, and Aneal (hardly major threats to defeat Tom or the challenge beast that is Gary). Talla was the host. This time around, though, it sounds for the moment like Tom emerged victorious, which means that he will take Gary down if he keeps his deal.

The only other interesting development that we are seeing right now is that based on Alec and Topaz’s conversation (in between them making out), AJ may actually be more of a target than he was prior to the Nomination Ceremony. Everyone seems to be privy to the fact that Suzette is pretty useless in challenges, so getting rid of her right now seems like a waste of an HoH. This doesn’t mean that he would actually go home, but it sounds like he is a favorite to be a replacement nominee.
