NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4: A fun chat between Gillian Jacobs, Craig Ferguson
We’re thrilled whenever any of the “Community” cast gets an opportunity to do some press, mostly because it is for them fairly often few and far between considering the show’s near-constant underdog status. However, Gillian Jacbos did have quite an opportunity this week courtesy of an appearance on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” as she had a chance to do just about everything you can hope for in a short, random chat on late-night TV. Did she try to play a musical instrument? Check. Explain her background for those who have no idea who she is? Check. Finally, did she have a chance to promote the show a little bit? This is the biggest check of all.
While there was not really any explanation here at all as to who Britta Perry is for those blissfully unaware about this show in the audience, Jacobs still talked generally about her experiences on the show, some of the drama that has circulated around it for the past year, and also the possibility of the show getting renewed and a movie. this part of the interview felt like someone shouting “six seasons and a movie” before the actress came out on stage, and Ferguson decided to vaguely run with it. (The chat with Jacobs occurs around the 30 minute mark in the video below.)
This season has been a rather interesting one for Jacobs thus far, mostly because she has spent most of it in a relationship with Troy. However, she did also play a major role in helping Jeff deal with some of his daddy issues during the surprisingly-emotional half-hour this week.
What do you want to see happen with Britta over the course of “Community” the rest of the season? If you want to check out our most-recent “Community” episode review, you can do so just by heading on over to the link here.
